Four separate areas of study make up a full CompTIA A+; you’re considered an A+ achiever when you’ve passed the test for just two specialist areas. For this reason, most training providers limit themselves to 2 study areas. In reality you will need the information on each subject as a lot of employment will be looking for knowledge and skills of the whole A+ program. It isn’t necessary to pass exams in all of them, but it seems common sense that you at least have a working knowledge of every area.
